Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of AutoRank: SEO Blog & CRO ("the App"), a Shopify application. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't install or use the App.

1. The Service

The App automates SEO blog content, product/page SEO fixes, site and conversion audits, and related storefront insights for Shopify merchants. Features and availability may change as the App is improved.

2. Your Account & Responsibilities

• You're responsible for the content the App publishes to your store, including reviewing AI-generated posts before or after publishing.
• If you supply your own AI provider API key ("bring your own key"), you're responsible for that provider's costs, usage limits, and terms — the App only passes your content requests through to the provider you chose.
• You must have the right to operate the Shopify store you install the App on, and to grant the App the access scopes it requests.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API on a recurring basis, with a 7-day free trial on every plan. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the App's Plan & Billing page inside Shopify admin; cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to publish unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the App.
• Interfere with or overload the App's infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

You own the content the App generates and publishes to your store. We own the App itself — its code, design, and branding. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App to you.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." AI-generated content, SEO/CRO scores, and audit results are informational and don't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or conversion outcomes. We recommend reviewing generated content before it goes live.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost sales or lost data, beyond the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
